Rita M. Reger, artist and writer, lives in the scenic red rock country of Sedona, AZ. Ms. Reger is the author and illustrator of the Adventures of PEPE QUACKAMOLE™ series. She finds inspiration through scenic hikes and exploring the numerous, surrounding historic sites. Upon winning a young author's contest as a child, the seeds of creativity were firmly planted. She has continued to write short stories, essays and poems for most of her life, primarily, as a creative outlet. One day, while making up silly stories with her neighbor's children, Pepe came to life and the Adventures of PEPE QUACKAMOLE™ were born. His world emerged as a place of limitless possibilities and wondrous new discoveries waiting around the next corner, with plenty of giggles along the way.
